I listened to a lot of dark, gritty music when writing Pretty Evil. Music was an important part of my writing process, inspiring me and setting the mood. I was very into grime at the time of writing. I feel the punchy style of the lyrics is reflected in my writing style, as well as the tough and defiant spirit of the music.
